Aloha from the isle of Maui in the state of Hawai’i.
We are based upon our ‘ohana (family) as our roots, collaboration is the foundation for us to build. We have been hosting events from 2007-2013, enjoying BBQ’s, meetings for general people to collaborate, artstorms, music gatherings, food/art, and gatherings of healers called splounge. In these events folks from far and wide introduce and share their ideas and envision art they would like to see manifest into our reality of experience.
For the years past we have done community volunteer work days and helped with various Native Hawaiian groups teaching people the art of growing poi, installing gardens, working at solar and algae farm in Kihei, Camp Keanae and the list goes on. We are currently in negotiations to secure a new venue.
Hosting Keiki (children) events throughout the years, we have held gallery events, art storms, funraizers and splounges which number into more than fifty (50) events in the community. With meetings and BBQ’s it is hundreds. A Hui Hou
