We may be far away from the playa, but Virginia is on FIRE! The Virginia burner community is growing all the time, with very active communities in Richmond, Charlottesville and the Tidewater (Norfolk/VA Beach, etc) areas.

Richmond is active as ever –  join the Party Liberation Front FB group to stay updated on the huge April and October "First Fridays" events, their monthly workshop series, and the annual NYE fundraiser celebration Decemberween!

Great things are happening in Tidewater! They host a monthly meet'n'greet at Toast Norfolk on the 1st Thursday of every month from 6:30-9pm! Join the Tidewater and Virginia FB pages to stay in touch. Piece of Cake Productions LLC is a crew of Tidewater-based burners, makers, builders and dreamers. Together they build large-scale, interactive art for Burning Man and regional burn events. The most recent project, MEGACAKE, debuted and burned down in Black Rock City 2019.
