Ohio - Cleveland / Akron

You'll be happy to learn there is an official burn in Ohio: Mosaic happens the first weekend in October on land near Athens, roughly a 4 hour drive from Cleveland. The land (called Reclaim) is very primitive, remote, private, and beautiful.  While we provide portable toilets, you'll have to bring your own water, firewood, and ice. It is highly recommended that you read the event survival guides thoroughly before attending either event!

For updates on these and other events happening in the Ohio area, there is a Facebook Group called Burning Man Ohio for discussion, and information about events in Ohio inspired by or related to Burning Man. You may also use this group to discuss events outside of Ohio, organize ride-shares, find burner-related resources such as camping supplies & equipment, make new friends, start a meet & greet, or just talk about Burning Man itself (or its 10 principles.)

Ohioans who share this common interest are encouraged to meet, network, learn, grow, combine resources, and make the "default world" more tolerable for one another. We're not alone.
