Welcome home, Kansas Burners!
The spirit of Burning Man is alive and growing in the Sunflower State, with two established regionals – “This Event Is Cancelled,” held near Topeka, and “Resonance,” held southeast of Wichita. In 2017, both events sold out, with a combined attendance of 750 burners. Both events have restructured, survived a pandemic, and are planning to return in 2022.
Kansas burners also have strong participation in the Midwest Burners sanctioned regional, Interfuse, held annually in May in Southeast Missouri, as well as other regionals in Iowa, MIssouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
We have Burners located all over the state, with highly active communities in the Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City areas.
