Spark the Dark, Sacramento Region Decompression

October 29, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - October 30, 2016 @ 1:00 pm

| tiered

Spark the Dark, Sacramento Region Decompression is our opportunity to increase community engagement within the burner community outside of primary annual events. This also gives a chance for the local burner community to interact and engage with the local non-burner community who is also interested in the arts, culture, and social interactions which are integral to our community. Lastly it is a great chance for the local burner community to cross-pollinate ideas, efforts, music, and social connections with burners from outside our region.

The event will be based on the 10 principles. Our primary goals are the engagement of a community, to create connections, develop artists and participants, create a flow of volunteers and staff for future events and projects, and hopefully inspire attendees into personal growth.

This event will be family friendly! The event will officially begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday and end Sunday at 1:00 pm. Overnight camping at the event site will be available up to 450 camp areas, limited RV camping.
