Ranger Cheesehead has been volunteering at the China Lights Festival at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. He says: “Come to socialize with your fellow WI Burners, enjoy the display, and also to get some building tips from a professional, traveling exhibit. The lighted art on display at China Lights must be moved from site to site, it must stand up to all weather, be artistic, bright, imaginative and still in the end look awesome – all critical points for Burner Art. You are close enough to see every little detail of design, construction, and wear. Hey! I can do that even better! With flames! And they do serve beer, wine, and food. Yea!
Come for a social, entertainment, and learning adventure with your fellow Wisconsin burners.”
We thought this would be a fun, informative, and interesting outing for Burners to attend. Let’s get together and experience some dusk/nighttime light exhibits and see what we can see! Perhaps it will give us some ideas and knowledge for our next Burning Man build.
