Regional Community
In our intimate-and-growing community Hungarian creativity meets burner hearts, and we are learning co-creation step-by-step. In 2017 we organized our first Burning Man inspired outdoors event Juhé Burn (pronounce: Yoohay!), in 2018 we continued the concept of making it a Juhé-Year. In 2019, we planned to organize the 3rd Juhé Burn but unfortunately lost access to the area.
Things got more quiet afterwards, and in the years since, a smaller number of Hungarian Burners camped out gathered during the Hungarian Fire Convention in late September and met at meetups in Budapest. We usually host online and / or in-person preparation sessions for people who want to go to Black Rock City!

For ongoing discussion, we recommend you join the Juhé Burn Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/juheburn), as - even though since 2019 there was no Juhé Burn - this is the where we discuss current community activity in Hungary.
There are also active group chats for people who are preparing to go to Black Rock City from Hungary, especially to support first-time burners. Please email hungary@burningman.org if you wish to join these chats.
