Regional Community

From our humble beginnings in 2001, the Toronto Burning Man Community (BurnT) has evolved into a vibrant community with year-round participatory events. We’ve been working to inspire people to become makers, builders, and art advocates, working to change the face of public art in our city. In 2011 non-profit status was granted to BurntOUT Interactive Arts Society and a rotating board of five members was elected.

Our Toronto community has multiple affiliated events which include:

  • Decompression (Toronto-based event in fall / winter)

  • mOOseman (summer outdoor regional)

  • Bi-Weekly Drink Nights (Thursday’s @ 6:30 p.m.)

  • Brides of March (March)

  • Urban Golf (spring)

  • Bunnarchy (April)

  • Newbie Picnic (Summer)

  • Santarchy (December)

  • Art Fundraisers (ongoing)
